ABOUT REFRIGERATED DELIVERY SERVICE
Refrigerated Delivery Service (RDS) was founded in 1964, a small LTL/truckload
perishable and pool distribution service for foodstuffs and related
products. RDS’ business has been built on a solid foundation of shippers –
providing them with consistent on-time pickup and delivery service.
RDS’ experience in warehousing, transportation and information systems,
along with our strategically located distribution centers, gives our
customers a logistics partner able to handle substantial growth. RDS
utilizes 40 units and two 30,000 refrigerated warehouse terminals located
in Tulsa, OK and Oklahoma City, OK to provide this premium service. Our
management staff and drivers are the backbone to ensuring that things are
done right the first time.
Refrigerated Delivery Service is able to stay on top of the most
innovative ways to distribute product while reducing the overall cost of
distribution. Nearly 80% of our freight is delivered the following morning
and we deliver to approximately 100 accounts daily.
RDS’ primary region is intrastate Oklahoma, serving thirty cities three
days per week and the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas on a daily
basis. Additional regions served are Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas.
